Dr. Xihui Cao Newman, Ph.D, HCLD (high complexity lab director).
Born on December 29, 1971 in Shandong, China, is experienced Clinical laboratory director, specialized in genetics testing and clinical lab management. Dr. Newman currently is the lab director and section chief at Biochemical Genetics laboratory, Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, Miami, Florida. Dr. Newman’s past work experience included Department of Human Genetics, University of Miami (2014-2015) and Bureau of Public Health Laboratories, Florida Department of Health (2003-2014). Dr. Newman has 19 publications in the research area of analytical chemistry and biochemistry.
