June 6 marks China's 31st National Eye Care Day, with the official theme "Vision for Everyone". To boost public awareness of eye health, the Shandong Ophthalmology Museum joined hands with multiple institutions to roll out a range of public welfare activities.

6月6日是第31个全国爱眼日，本年度主题为“人人享有眼健康”。为普及科学护眼知识，山东眼科博物馆联合多家单位组织开展系列公益活动。

Ten parent-child families toured the museum and its science and technology exhibition hall under guidance. Via interactive exhibits, they traced the evolution of ophthalmology spanning ancient diagnostic methods to cutting-edge modern medical achievements.

十组亲子家庭在讲解员引导下参观博物馆及科技馆展厅，通过互动展项系统了解眼科学发展脉络，纵览传统诊疗手段到现代医学技术的迭代升级，沉浸式体验眼科医学独特魅力。

Physicians and medical student volunteers delivered engaging popular science lectures focusing on childhood myopia prevention and proper eye usage. They cited real cases and answered questions raised by parents and kids in easy-to-understand language.

围绕儿童近视防控、科学用眼等大众关切热点，医护人员与医学生志愿者开设科普讲堂，结合真实临床案例，用通俗直白的语言逐一解答家长和孩子提出的各类疑问。

The event also featured interactive hands-on workshops, including fruit-shell bell making, intangible cultural heritage lacquer fan DIY and handmade coffee soap crafting. These activities urged children to step away from electronic devices, get close to nature, and develop good hygiene habits such as frequent handwashing and avoiding eye-rubbing.

活动同步设置果壳铃制作、非遗漆扇DIY、咖啡手工皂等趣味实操环节，引导孩子们放下电子设备、亲近自然，在动手实践中牢记“勤洗手、不揉眼”的护眼卫生好习惯。

On June 7, the museum took part in the 2nd "Yidian Wenyi" National Health Protection Program held at Fohuishan Square, offering free eye health consultations for local residents, an initiative that earned wide public acclaim.

6月7日，山东眼科博物馆亮相佛慧山广场，参与第二届“壹点问医”全民健康守护行动，现场为市民提供免费眼健康咨询服务，收获广泛好评。

Moving ahead, the museum will keep innovating popular science forms, deliver regular eye health public welfare services to communities and campuses, and help people across the country access a clearer and healthier view of the world.
